Hi! I'm going to be 5 months pregnant by the time expo rolls around. By that time it will be a lot harder for me to stand in lines in the full sun, not to mention dangerous. Is it possible to wait indoors and be allowed into the panel when it starts? Not trying to cut in line i'm trying to protect myself and my unborn child. Thanks.

Hi Pamela,

Thank you for your inquiry. For panel lines you can wait inside with the premier fans and ADA. If you need helping finding where the lines are, please don’t hesitate to ask a volunteer for directions.

I hope the above information was helpful. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please let us know and we will be glad to assist you.

Best Regards,

Anime Expo Event Operations

My wife was 5 months pregnant with our twins and we went all four days in costume, waited in lines, and had an amazing time. You'll be fine, and everyone will be accommodating and so nice. Just be polite and in a good mood and you'll get the same energy right back from the staff and the attendees. Ask someone to hold your place in line so you can wait in the shade and they'll gladly do it. Seriously nice and warm people everywhere.

You're going to have a great time!

And for what it's worth, my wife, and our twin girls, now 7, are all attending this year dressed as Pokemon, their current fav thing in the whole world!
